Many states have recently revamped, replenished, or increased funds for employer training grants and tax credits. Interest has been overwhelming and in many cases funds are limited or already obligated. Similarly, Indiana’s Next Level Jobs-Employer Training Grant application opened July 9, yet due to a high level of interest applications are already closed until 9/20/21. The State of Indiana is now encouraging companies to seek out the 180 Skills program, details are below.
Training Resources for Indiana Employers
In partnership with 180 Skills, the State of Indiana is making skills training resources available to Indiana employers.
This initiative will enable 100,000 Hoosiers to have access to the 180 Skills library of skills training courses.
The goal of Indiana Rapid Recovery is to help people acquire the skills necessary for employment, grow the skills they need to advance in their current job, and to help companies grow and retain skilled workers. Indiana Rapid Recovery is free to all Indiana employers.
